A discontinuous author of gay erotica, this time Mr Tanner delivers an excellent short story: well thought of, well paced, sexy and duly dirty. Writing is up to the task and I suppose many readers will enjoy it.I could not. Characterization is paramount in erotica and while the two lovers are very well rounded with a commendable attention to detail I disliked them intensely. They are life-like, believable, consistent and utterly unlikeable. Carson is particularly obnoxious. I think I see the point the author is trying to make and he does it well but the end result is that Carson is bitter, manipulative, arrogant and selfish. Call me naive but I do not enjoy erotica if it is tainted by such feelings.
Furthermore roles in bed are rigidly codified, another turn off for me.
A problem of personal taste, of course, but a problem nonetheless.

Well...I totally disliked both men. Carson is bitter and manipulative. Greg is a arrogant jerk. Despite my dislike for the characters, the Story is well written and enjoyable.
After I read Gayrotica A Sweet And Sensual Gay Love Story I was looking for another book like it. That was when I found this book. If you've ever wondered what happens when two hot young men are looking to get it on together then this is definitely the book for you. This book is full of explicit style writing and sexual encounters which makes it great for anyone who loves to hear all the juicy details.
Carson is a working man, living out his life as a masseur with a hobby writing horror stories. He lives his life his own way though he's always had a strong lust for the hot bodies of the athletes around town. Of course, he's always had a problem with those same athletes as well and the old high school football star, 19-year-old Greg Miller is no exception.
Greg was a football quarterback when he was in high school. Football wins, scholarships and college were in the bag. And then he made some stereotypical bad decisions involving alcohol, driving and a car accident, that landed him in a hospital for months and therapy for years. He's finally getting back in shape and getting back to a normal standard of living. But Greg isn't happy with a normal standard of living. This spoiled, sports star wants to get back in the game and to do that, he and his family are willing to spend any amount of money necessary for anything that just might get him there. That includes therapeutic massage from Carson.
Carson of course, is more than willing to work on the gorgeous quarterback's muscles and his solid body, though he mainly wants to take out years of resentment towards people like him. Until he gets Greg under his hands and finds out that Greg has fantasies as well. And Greg's fantasy has less to do with playing football and a lot more to do with being on his back under another man. And he wants Carson to be that other man.
This book is definitely for adults only as it has very sexual references and acts included. It also has explicit gay sex as well. If you are easily offended then this is definitely not the book for you. But if you're looking for a read full of hot, undressed men then this might be just your speed. These two men are very interested in seeing what they can get from each other. Carson has always lusted after the athletes he hated, and Greg has had his secret fantasy for a long time. Now it's finally the time for both of them to get what they've always wanted and to see if it's everything, they've always thought it would be.
Sleazy porn, but a bit too stereotypical. THE story could've done with a bit more volume. How does the qb look like? Wat does he feel?
This book was a very quick read. A fun afternoon of sexual arousal. Please read this book I'm sure you will enjoy it!
